Hi guys!
I hope you're all well?
Since Halloween is quickly approaching, I thought I'd do a Halloween themed post. Whilst I unfortunately have no plans to celebrate this year, I do enjoy Halloween related things. I love watching horrors, carving pumpkins, making (and eating) pumpkin soup, seeing all of the trick or treaters who knock for sweets.. the lot!
To get you all in the mood for this spooktacular time of the year too, here's 'The Halloween Tag'!
1. What is your favourite Halloween movie?
I love The Conjuring and Insidious 1 and 2. I tend to prefer movies that are 'supposedly' based on real events as I find them much creepier (and then later regret said choice of film when I'm alone and tucked up in bed - ahh!). Of course, I'm also a major fan of all of the Harry Potter films and would never turn down the chance to watch them (Halloween or otherwise).
2. If you were in a horror movie, how far would you get?
I'm one of those people that likes to think they'd get really far but probably wouldn't. I'm useless at running fast, I'm pretty damn clumsy, I have really bad long distance eye sight and I'd probably worry about everyone else's safety whilst forgetting about my own. Let's hope I'll never have to find out!
3. What is your favourite memory of Halloween?
When I was in primary school my best friend's Mum used to put on the most fantastic Halloween parties! We used to dress up in our costumes, have a three course 'spooky dinner' and listen to Halloween music/watch Halloween films (I'm talking The Simpson's Halloween specials because I was such a wimpy child and it was the only thing I could handle). I used to also love buying all of my costumes from Woolworths! #RIP
4. Your best/worst Halloween outfit?
My best Halloween outfit was probably last year when I went as a broken doll. I got my outfit from eBay and I did my own make-up which I'll admit I was quite proud of. I'm pretty sure every other outfit I've ever put together was awful though!
5. How do you get into the Halloween spirit?
My Dad and I carve a pumpkin every year and he always comes up with something silly/creative to jazz it up a little. Mum and I then make a pumpkin soup from the leftovers. It's my fave! I also love to pop on a bit of Halloween music such as Thriller or Monster Mash or a Halloween themed TV show (no one can beat PLL on that front though).

6. Favourite Halloween decoration?
Again, it's got to be the pumpkin! They're so much fun to carve and they look pretty cool too!
7. Name one unusual thing you're afraid of?
Aside from the usual things like spiders or death etc.. I'm actually pretty scared of crabs (the animal, not the disease!). They remind me of spiders except they live in the sea!
8. Vampires or Zombies?
Vampires! They're cooler... right?
9. Werewolves or Ghosts?
Not that I'd like to come across one.. but ghosts!
10. Creepy Dolls or Creepy Clowns?
Creepy Dolls are so much scarier! Hello, has anyone seen Annabelle?!
11. Do you believe in ghosts?
Although I've personally never seen one - I do believe in them!
If you'd like to answer these questions, feel free to do so (don't forget to leave a link below so I can check it out). I hope you all have a lovely Halloween whatever you decide to do!
