My Top 3 Fragrances!

Hi guys!

I hope you're all well?

Over the years I've built up a pretty large collection of perfumes - in fact, I'd say I was obsessed with the stuff! From Hugo BOSS to Marc Jacobs and even a bit of Victoria Beckham, this girl can never get enough (would you look at me, channelling my inner 'Little Mermaid').

I love that perfumes have the ability to remind you of certain people, special occasions or even places. For example, I once met up with a friend who told me she'd been immediately reminded of our lovely holiday to Greece when she smelt my perfume. I was thrilled!

However, despite having so many wonderful scents to choose from, I have a terrible habit of reaching for the same three bottles #typical Since I love these three so much, I thought I'd share them with you all.

 Here goes!

Jo Malone's Pear & Freesia (Cologne)

Top note: King William Pear
Heart Note: Freesia
Base Note: Patchouli

Jo Malone do such a massive range of scents but Pear & Freesia has got to be my favourite. It's a lovely light and fruity number that is perfect for spring and summer. I always get loads of compliments when I wear this perfume which is always a good thing in my books! It's a perfect combination of fruity and floral which I'm a big fan of. Perfect for day time and very long lasting!

Dior's Hypnotic Poison (Eau De Parfum)

Top note: Sambac Jasmine
Heart note: Tonka Beans
Base note: Vanilla

Dior do such amazing perfumes but Hypnotic Poison has got to be my all time favourite. It's sweet but very sultry and oriental smelling.  The bottle is gorgeous and looks brilliant on a dressing table. I'd say this is probably my most reached for perfume at the moment (I find it's more of an autumn/winter perfume as it's very warm scented - also great for evening wear).

Lancome's La Vie est Belle (Eau De Parfum)

Top notes: Blackcurrent and Pear
Heart notes: Iris, Jasmine and Orange Blossom
Base notes: Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Praline and Patchouli

Lancome's La Vie est Belle is probably my most re-purchased perfume of all time. Over the past three years or so I've gotten through at least 5-6 bottles. I love how fruity and sweet this perfume is. It's perfect for all year around and can be worn at any time of the day. My Mum smelt this and fell in love with it. It's now her 'go to' perfume as well and sends my Auntie mad when we both wear it at the same time (yay for sensory overload!).

So those are my three favourite perfumes. I'd love to hear what yours are in the comments below as I'm always on the look out for more favourites!

Thanks for reading!

  3. I'd love to try a Jo Malone perfume. My favourites are a little more feminine and flowery like Vera Wang's Princess. I also love Elie Saab's perfumes.

  6. I love Azzaro's perfume since they're like my family perfumes, every single female member has at least one from them. I have Azzaro Duo women, which is a fierce scent with a stunning gold bottle and I'm obsessed with it. Though the gold keeps chipping away that makes me so mad (and sad)!!!!
You're so right about how some scents can make us remember different moments. My uncle used to use a perfume from Hugo Boss a lot. Whenever I catch the scent while moving in mall or some place, it suddenly reminds me of him. So eupheric!!!!

  13. I'm so guilty of just using the same perfumes again and again. My current love Giorgio Armani Si is almost running out so I definitely need a replacement. And a new Jo Malone store has just opened up in my local shopping centre so might have to go and try out some of the fragrances later today!!
