Lush Halloween/Christmas Haul!

Hi guys!

I hope you're all well?

You may have seen in my most recent post that I was lucky enough to be invited along to the Lush Bromley 'Winter Is Coming' 2015 bloggers event. Whilst I was at the event I had the opportunity to buy some of their amazing new Halloween/Christmas goodies. I of course, couldn't say no.

I thought I'd show you all what I picked up in a little (well, not really) haul! Here goes!

Heebie Jeebie Bat Gift Set - £9.95

Okay, so I'm a sucker (pun not intended) for cute packaging and as soon as I saw the Heebie Jeebie Bat gift set I knew I had to get my claws (pun intended) on it. Heebie is a part of Lush's 2015 Halloween range and includes two shower products; Nightwing shower jelly and Lord Of Misrule shower scream.

Nightwing (£3.95) is a beautiful fruity smelling shower jelly which is shaped like a bat. It contains aloe vera, lime juice and carob syrup. I'm so excited to try this one out as it's so unlike any shower product I've tried before. I'll try and resist eating it (it smells that good)!

Lord Of Misrule (£4.95) is a shower 'scream' containing patchouli, peppercorn and black pepper. It's a very spicy scent and is honestly a little different from any scent I'd normally chose (it reminds me slightly of men's aftershave). However, with wheatgerm oil and vitamin E, this product is supposed to leave your skin feeling soft, soft, soft!

Tangled Hot Oil Treatment - £6.50

Tangled is a hot oil hair treatment on a stick! If that doesn't excite you, I don't know what will! You simply boil a kettle, grab a suitable container and slowly stir your stick of Tangled into the container with boiled water until it forms a thick, creamy paste. You pop this product onto dry hair and leave for 20 minutes before washing off. This will nourish your hair completely and leave it tangle free! I absolutely love the scent of this treatment as it contains rosewood and ylang ylang. If you ever pop into a Lush store, have a sniff and prepare to fall in love!

Santa Baby Lip Tint - £5.95

Santa Baby lip tint is a beautifully scented and coloured lip product. It contains cherries, dates, shea butter and cinnamon. The colour is a really pretty Coral Red which ever so slightly resembles MAC's Lady Danger (my all time favourite lipstick).

Fairy Dust Dusting Powder - £5.95

Fairy Dust Dusting Powder is a sparkly, pink talcum powder which smells exactly like Lush's most popular Christmas scent.. Snow Fairy. What's not to love? This product is great to use after a long bath as it leaves the skin feeling super smooth and smelling super lovely. It's also great to use before nights out and maybe even a Christmas party or two as it's full of sparkle for the festive season.

Grease Lightening Spot Treatment - £6.50

Okay, so whilst this might not be a part of Lush's Christmas/Halloween range I knew I had to get it after hearing about it in Leanne Woodfull's 'September Favourites' video. This is a spot treatment serum that contains a blend of tea tree and witch hazel which are both natural remedies for blemishes and spots. I've used this non stop since buying it and I think it's really good (annoyingly, I didn't use it one night and got a spot the following day - typical).

Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar - £3.65

Sparkly Pumpkin is a bubble bar which of course is a part of Lush's Halloween range. Whilst it's shaped like a pumpkin, this bubble bar is actually a very citrussy scent. It contains lime, grapefruit oil and juniperberry. Be warned, this product is VERY glittery (the slightest brush against it will leave you looking like Edward Cullen exposed to the sunlight... fun!).

Candy Mountain Bubble Bar - £2.95

Candy Mountain is one of Lush's best selling Christmas products (along with Snow Fairy). As the name suggests this product smells like.. you've guessed it, candy! It's creamy, sweet and kind of reminds you of being at a funfair! If you like sweet smelling products, this one is for you!

Rose Jam Bubbleroon - £3.75

Rose Jam is a 'bubbleroon' (bubble bar) which is of course shaped like a macaroon. It has a gorgeous floral (and citrussy) scent! It also has coconut and shea butter in which is nourishing for your skin. There is also a shower cream version of this product which I really want to try!

So White Bath Bomb - £3.65

So White has been a part of the Lush Christmas range for a few years now. Whilst it may be one of Lush's more simpler products, it's still packed with a beautiful scent! It has a crisp apple smell and is filled with bergamot oil, rose, orange flower and neroli oil. It's also one of Lush's larger bath products! #win

Cinders Bath Bomb - £2.95 each

Talking of winners, meet my all time favourite Lush product! I always stock up on Cinders as I'm so sad to see it go. However, I get that much more excited when I hear that it's back in the Lush Christmas range for another year. Cinders is a beautiful combination of winter spice/fruit punch. It also contains popping candy for a crackling bath experience. I love it so much I got two (and will without a doubt buy another before it goes away for another year).

Star Dust Bath Bomb - £2.95

Star Dust is definitely one of my new favourite products. It smells creamy/sweet and contains vanilla, rosewood and bergamot. Don't be fooled into thinking this is a 'simple' product. When dropped into a tub of hot water it fizzes up and releases loads of multicoloured stars which is so cute!

Magic Wand Reusable Bubble Bar - £5.25

Magic Wand is a reusable bubble bar on a stick. You simply hold this product under a running tap or swish around in a bath to create glorious pink bubbles. It smells just like Snow Fairy and Candy Mountain (see above).

The Magic Of Christmas Reusable Bubble Bar - £5.95

The Magic Of Christmas is another reusable bubble bar on a stick and oh my - it's amazing! It's full of everything Christmas scented; cinnamon, cloves, spices and almonds. All of this is held together by an actual cinnamon stick. It creates lovely orange bubbles and is perfect for a relaxing winter night in. 10/10, would recommend!

Butterbear Bath Bomb - £1.95

I was also lucky enough to win this little guy in a 'Fun Bath' moulding competition. My model ended up being pretty awful so I'm sure this could have been a sympathy prize but I'm so grateful all the same. Butterbear smells like vanilla and contains chunks of cocoa butter which is great for the skin.

Lastly, the bloggers invited to the event were gifted with some samples from Lush. These included:

Lord Of Misrule Shower Scream (see above), Christingle Body Conditioner (£16.50) and my favourite sample Hair Custard (£12.95) - seriously, this smells good enough to eat.

There are still so many Christmas products I'd like to try but as my basket was getting a little full I decided to leave with only half the shop as opposed to the whole shop!

Let me know what your favourite Lush Halloween/Christmas products are and which one's you'll be buying this year?

Thanks for reading!
x

*Please note that bloggers were allowed to pick three products (one each) from the Halloween, Cosy Christmas and Candy Christmas lines for free. Everything else (not including prizes/free samples as discussed) was paid for out of my own money. All opinions are my own.*

  1. What a haul! I'm in need of a trip to Lush because I have black pots to return, and I want to stock up on my trusty Ultrabland and Ro's Argan. I don't have baths, so will have to give the bath bombs a miss, but will be looking at the Christmas soaps and melts (for foot soaks) for sure!

  3. All of these look awesome but I think my favorite is the butterbear bath bomb. So adorable! Is the smell similar to a regular butterball bath bomb? Love that smell!

  5. These products are SO wonderful. I love the glittery pumpkin. It looks more of a Disney product rather than a spooky one (too lovely, you see! :D)
